Anthony Robbins’ Unleash The Power Within® Event is coming to Chicago July 14-17.
I’m honored to be one of the event’s bloggers. Although I’ve covered many events, this is the first time I’ll be sharing insights from a world-renowned speaker, author and peak performance strategist that I’ve admired and wanted to see present live for years now.
And, I’m excited to offer my readers this special Unleash The Power Within® Event offer: call 1-800-340-8912 and mention the special code “bloggers” to get a free seating upgrade with your ticket purchase. You must order by phone as this exclusive offer is not available on the web. And, every ticket purchase gives back to the community.
Unleash The Power Within® Event Sets Goal of Providing Over 50,000 Meals to Needy Chicago Families
“Everyone has the need to contribute. It is one of the six human needs. If you give from your heart,
it will come back to you tenfold.” — Anthony Robbins
Anthony Robbins is partnering with the nonprofit group the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help feed local families in need.
For every ticket sold to the event, the Anthony Robbins Foundation will provide 18 meals to local families through a monetary donation to the Greater Chicago Food Depository with a goal of providing over 50,000 meals through this fundraising effort.
Anthony Robbins’ philosophy is “The secret to living is giving.”
He believes, “There is an unbelievable gift in life when you can step out of yourself and help someone else. The partnership with Greater Chicago Food Depository gives people an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of families in need, while making a difference in their own lives at the same time.”
The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 650 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 678,000 adults and children in Cook County every year.
What began nearly 30 years ago as Robbins’ individual effort to feed homeless families has now grown into the Anthony Robbins Foundation’s International Basket Brigade, which feeds more than three million people in more than 56 countries every year.
His foundation has also provided support and initiated programs in more than 2,000 schools, 700 prisons and 100,000 service organizations and shelters.
Donate directly to the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Watch for coverage on twitter, Facebook and of course, here. Let’s get started with Mr. Robbins’ TED talk on “Why we do what we do, and how we can do it better.”
If you could ask Tony Robbins any question, what would it be?
