Meeting and Event Pros Engage to Excel at MPI-CAC EdCon 2013 on 11/14

edcon-logo-mpicacAre you a meeting planner – or a meeting supplier – in the Chicago area who’s looking to learn, network and advance your business or career?

Then, you won’t want to miss the Meeting Professional International Chicago Area Chapter [MPI-CAC] annual educational conference, called EdCon, on November 14.

Disclosure: I serve on MPI-CAC’s MarComm committee as a liaison to the EdCon planning team. And, I will be speaking at EdCon about Networking in 3D – more about that in another post.

Having seen the amount of planning and effort going on behind the scenes, I know that MPI-CAC EdCon is a conference that will dramatically upgrade your contact list and immediately sharpen your skills. You’ll be all set for a strong start in 2014!

Here’s the EdCon: Engage to Excel event information. You can register here.

MPI-CAC EdCon 2013: Engage to Excel

The MPI Chicago Area Chapter promises to help members grow their career and build their business. EdCon 2013: Engage to Excel will do just that by providing a full day of industry education and networking opportunities.

ENGAGE with subject matter experts and peers from all areas and levels of the industry, both globally and locally.

EXCEL in your career with the knowledge, skills and connections you will gain from the innovative programming designed to give you a competitive edge.

This conference is worth up to 0.4 CEUs.

MPI-CAC EdCon 2013 Objectives

Challenge the audience and inspire connections by facilitating excellent networking and educational opportunities.
Move the audience to action by applying knowledge based educational forums of business concepts and functions in an integrated manner.
Describe the global environment of our business and discuss the major concepts in functional areas of social media, marketing and management.

Located right next door, to me, EdCon will take place at the beautifully renovated Chicago Marriott Naperville. Speakers include two MPI MVPs: Simon T. Bailey and Deborah Gardner. Networking will be entertaining [and delicious!] at a “Best of DuPage County” reception.

Let’s Talk!
