Liz Strauss is hosting a big event this weekend in Chicago called SOBCon – Biz School for Bloggers.
For a few weeks now, the attendees have been talking to each other on twitter, updating statuses on the event wiki, checking out the event’s Facebook site and commenting back and forth on each other’s blogs. So, I kind of-sort of knew who was going.
Today the complete attendee list appears on Successful Blog, the SOBCon site and on attendees’ blogs like this one. Every time the list gets posted a new wave of readers finds it.
Don’t you love this approach? Whenever I attend an event, meeting new people and connecting with friends turns out to be one of the biggest benefits – now I have a head start on introductions to these SOBs: successful and outstanding bloggers . . . .
