Over a year ago, I attended an affiliate event here in Chicago. This image is from our outing to a Wrigley rooftop. One of the sponsors, Deluxe, asked me to do a quick video that day. I remember having fun being interviewed.
Last week, one of Deluxe Corporation’s summer interns, Ashley, told me that CoryWest Media had been selected at this week’s Deluxe small business of the week! All thanks to my video. Here’s my profile.

This week, we want to highlight Barbara Rozgonyi, whom a few of our employees met while attending a conference in Chicago . She is the owner of CoryWest Media, a strategic marketing agency, and publisher of WiredPRWorks, which ranked in Cision’s 2012 top 50 PR marketing blogs. Additionally, her training and speaking engagements are continuing to grow. She presents on public relations, social media, and wired writing in college classes, corporate boardrooms, and is gearing up to present at national conferences. On top of her consulting and training/speaking engagements, she also founded Social Media Club Chicago

I like this idea. It’s a great way to promote other businesses and bring traffic to your social media sites through theirs.
I’ll be honest. When I saw the link went to my about page, I realized that updating this page was an urgent priority. It’s amazing how quickly time can pass, accomplishments can add up and the the site content gets outdated. If you have a blog, think of your about page as a key landing page. My upgrade now includes a video and is organized by categories.
