Sleep Out Saturday Rallies for Homeless Families

Kim_devin_sandy_joyce_bob1It will always be the first Saturday in November. "It" is Sleep Out Saturday, a county-wide effort to raise funds and awareness for Bridge Communities – DuPage county’s oldest and largest provider of transitional housing for homeless famlies. Visit our online Sleep Out Saturday media guide for more event information.
Every $25 donation delivers 24 hours of shelter and care for a family member. Find out how you can make a donation to help homeless families find a better future.

In all, 1,000 people – mostly enthusiastic youth – participated. Each of them experienced what it’s like to be homeless for one night by sleeping out in a cardboard box, a tent or under the stars.
