Thanks to NAMIC for the opportunity to present this program at its Communications and Marketing Workshop in St. Louis – and for taking my back to my corporate roots.
When I left the corporate world to found CoryWest Media, I was a national sales trainer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance agents. Before that I was an award-winning group insurance sales representative – thank goodness my manager didn’t accept my resignation when I tried to quit my job because my sales were so slow.
And, my very first job out of college was as an inbound marketer for Dun & Bradstreet’s insurance subsidiary. After a few years, I quickly rose from being a telemarketer to become the company’s Midwest regional office manager where marketing corporate meetings, such sales training seminars, became a top priority. Today, a corporate meeting planner pro has a myriad of options to choose from. Here’s a collection of top resources. It’s a start. What would you add?
Special thanks goes out to my fellow MPI-CAC MarComm committee member, Liz Olson of HelmsBriscoe for contributing so many great ideas! Here’s the presentation guide.

Thanks for including G2 Crowd in your very comprehensive list + presentation, Barbara! If any of your readers or presentation viewers have any questions on the vendors you listed, we have most (if not all) of them up on the site! Asana, Basecamp, Hootsuite – we have ’em all.

Thanks Daniel! Great to have G2 Crowd as a crowd review resource. 🙂
