Twenty-thirteen could be remembered as a pivotal year for social media. Several companies like Twitter and Snapchat took giant steps forward. While, the world’s large social media network, Facebook, may have taken a step back. Teaching High School Students to Network on LinkedIn for College Success

college-success-networking-linkedinNow that LinkedIn is open to students as young as 13, and offers a LinkedIn site for University pages, high school students may want to take a break from Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to learn about networking and personal branding.

A new online course, “Get Linked Into College Success and Beyond,” teaches personal branding, networking and LinkedIn success skills.

Here’s the backstory on how I created this networking course for high school and college students.
