I'm new to affiliate marketing, and have learned a lot by reading posts like this. The one thing I'm starting to believe is that there has to be sincerity in what you do as a marketer. The primary purpose of your actions has to add value to someone or something. Making money and taking away value should be secondary. It seems like these new rules with re-enforce that idea.
